Cinco de Mayo is wrapping up just in time, as the Portland Rose Festival is getting ready to begin. The City of Roses has a lot planned for the upcoming weeks and months, starting with the Rose Festival
.
The waterfront village of fun and festivity will kick of the Rose Festival at the end of May, and for all those that have not been, it's a blast, and it's running a week longer than the normal 2 week span. That means more fun for Portland and all that are visiting.
During the next month and half, Portland will be brimming with visitors from near and far. They come for the parades, no less than 3 mind you. They come for the music festivals, and Fleet week , which is a week when military ships from far away ports, dock on to Portlands waterfront, and you can go aboard, and see all the hard working men and women that make them run.
Don't forget about the Dragon boat races. This is a tradition of building large boats shaped and painted like Dragons, and then racing them in the Willamette river, using only the power of oars. This can be very exciting for al involved and those watching too!
All My Sons Moving and Storage is the mover of choice the City of Roses and the workers and volunteers of the Rose Festival celebration.
